Why We Created JÈYS & I
JÈYS & I was born from our personal journey as parents, inspired by our family and Cape Verdean heritage. Created in the UK, we wanted to bring something truly special to little ones — thoughtfully designed baby essentials that combine exceptional softness, gentle sensory details and timeless design.
Every piece reflects our belief that even the smallest details can make everyday moments more meaningful, bringing comfort, curiosity and creating memories to cherish.

We design with real everyday moments in mind, creating pieces that feel considered, comforting and beautifully uncomplicated.
Thoughtfully Selected Materials
Every material is chosen with purpose — from extrafine merino wool, organic cotton, bamboo and natural rubber to carefully selected functional materials. Some of our designs also incorporate polyester plush fabric, recycled polyester, Sorona® filling or sensory inserts to add softness, durability, structure and tactile detail.
